What Happens Next?

What you can expect with A Child’s Hope:

• Talk with our friendly hotline operator and one of our adoption counselor
• Meet in person with one of our easy to talk to counselors – your home or another location
• We will go to prenatal appointments with you
• We notify the birth father; your counselor or private investigator meet with him to sign documents and give DNA
• We set up a budget for financial support
• You select a family
• You meet the family you chose at a match meeting with your counselor there to support you
• Your counselor is always in touch through delivery and provides emotional support
• Your counselor guides you through document signing at the hospital
• You are invited to join the adoptive parents and baby in our office for placement day
• You choose how often you want to receive letters and pictures over the years and visits if desired
